BF3 News: WE HAVE A BETA DATE!!!!! THURSDAY THE 29TH SEPTEMBER 2011!!! Which will more than likely end up being the 30th for us here in OZ. But none the less we’ll be able to kick back with some new Battlefield goodness and give this latest instalment a test out before it’s full release next month.
FH2 News – by Spooky I'd been with this release that I looked back into the Forgotten Honour Community Oceania as enrolled for their 9th Campaign Death From Above set in the days following the D-day Invasion. Myself, parapirate, pink(to a certain degree) and alphabear signed up and had a crack at big format WW2 combat. From there on in we were all quickly dedicating Sat nights to 40+ 2 hour battles.
After the first campaign I signed on for the next one "Ride The Avalanche" which was the Mediterranean side of things in WW2 ie Operation Torch, Monte Cassino etc. as a 2IC for one of the AXIS battalions and sent the word out thru the *AUS* forums for any keen WW2 players. This snowballed into us representing *AUS* with at least 8 guys in battles. (This is impressive as most weeks we pulled a max of 24 players down to 16 so having 8 was a major percentage of the team) .
Spooky Mary Alpha Para _IPX Veeks Gossy Hobotron Pink Woobee
These guys really brought the 16v16 tradition of *AUS* to the FH2 campaign (even though we weren't running the tags due to historical reason we were in actual divisions and battalions) With guys like Mary being the shock trooper lone wolf, Ala a whizz at everything etc etc.
So In closing we dominated the last campaign.
