The much anticipated grudge match between *AUS* and DIC was played tonight. *AUS* were ready and pumped up after 2 hours of training prior to the match.
Round 1 (*AUS* allies, DIC axis) The allies quickly dug in into their defensive positions awaiting the arrival of the enemy. The north was struck first and DIC greyed the village flag. *AUS* quickly reinforced their positions and after a brief skrimish, the flag was in *AUS* control. DIC continued to attack north with waves of landing craft. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on which side u were on, our pilots were quick to see this and sent the LV's to the bottom of the ocean. DIC never really got a foothold on the island and the round was over before I knew it.

However, DIC found some form and our inital assualters were quickly laided to rest on the shores of wake. *AUS* repostioned it's fleet to give better attacking options. This appeared to have work as both the village and northbase were greyed. DIC put up a good fight but where quickly outgunned by the waves and waves of shells and men. All was going well for AUS until someone beached the destroyer. DIC relieved by the lack of shelling consolidated it's positions and held off the AUS invaders from the airfield.
