Late July Battlefield news update -- Posted by Lord_Barra on Tuesday, July 22 2008 |
The battle results page shows some nice results coming in for the Battlefield Division. A loss against the bR~ clan for our LiD team is the first event on our battle results page since the last update, this was always going to be a tough game and we arent cut about that result. Since then, win win win for all our smaller teams.
LiD had a good win against both the Affliction and SIN clans, on daqing oilfields and Operation Black Hawk Down respectively. Two extremes in 10v10 maps, flyboy and armour on Daqing and infantry on blackhawk down shows the team is building up its skills in both aspects of the game well against quality opposition.
Or Special Forces team in the Adsa 8v8 special forces ladder has also enjoyed some success, 3 solid wins against quality teams again. NSOF on the Surge map, Sons of Alexander went down on the Leviathan map and Evil Fun in a closer match on the Mass Destruction map. So good work there to the SF team waiving the flag high.
We have a new 10v10 team in the GameSpace ladder for a bit of a change. This team run by Steric has enjoyed some good success wining its first two games by significant margins. Australian Heavy Assault went down against us on Sharqi Peninsula and Drunkards in Combat last night went down thanks to some good chopper work from our *AUS* boys supporting the fight on the ground. Like LiD securing a good wins on two very different style maps - infantry vs flyboy\armour type maps.
16v16 has been slow, down season still in the GA ladder. The nGR ladder however has kicked off and unfortunately for us, we have drawn aK^ eX5 and RapidFire first up. So we will have to endure a bumpy ride into this comp. Our first game lastnight on Daqing Oilfields was a bit brutal, aK won significantly but we found some great positives to take away from that game, and remembered the importance of good prac which we wont forget for our coming games.
That's it for now |
