Match against The Alliance -- Posted by The_Heretic on Wednesday, April 19 2006 |
Last night at 9.30pm We played our latest match against The Alliance, our ranking position #70 to their ranking position#41 at the start of the match. On the map Dalian Plant. It was a hard fought match with our rollouts working in both rounds and securing the target flags, we tried to be aggressive and this time it came off with our attack chopper picking up a third flag as a bonus and causing a ticket bleed. Both of our main infantry squads performed really well, they did lose their target flag a couple of times in each round but were able to come back and secure it again, whilst the air crews kept the opposition air boys busy. The first round score was 72-0 in our favour and in the second round we won 27-0 for a total of 99-0. Though the score does not show how well this match was played. Well done to all our players and better luck in future for The Alliance. We are currently ranked at #41. |
Match against Australian Heavy Assault -- Posted by The_Heretic on Sunday, April 2 2006 |
Challenged A.H.A on Sharqui Peninsula in the BF2 ladder tonight.
We started as U.S.M.C in the first round and were pushed back only as far as the surveilance post flag and set up a spam with the APC and T-90 with PKM's support, and we lost 38 - 77.
However, in the second round as Mec, I was concerned when our initial roll-out failed to make a real impact, but we re-organised and pushed from west to east and capped them out, 123-0 for a total of 161 - 77
It was a huge team effort and we're very pleased with the result, including "blooding" a couple of new members. |
