It has been a very successful February for the *AUS* BF1942 division. We won both of our matches, and received recognition from the *AUS* HQ by winning division of the month. Congratulations to everyone for that and an even bigger congratulations to Straka who took out *AUS* player of the month.
In addition there are some long overdue medals and awards that some of us have finally recieved after months and months of dedicated service to *AUS*...
"Medals
The Distinguished Service Cross is hereby awarded to Straka in recognition of his distinguished marine service.
The George Medal is hereby awarded to Bigbird, ST, Jafo, Morden and Thor in recognition of their courage on the field.
The *AUS* Proficiency Medal is hereby awarded to; ST for proficiency in commanding and Macgyver for proficiency in soldiering.
The *AUS* Member of the Game medal is hereby awarded to Jafo and Straka by popular vote in match against *BiA* on 23/02/03.
The *AUS* Assault Proficiency Medal is hereby awarded to Macgyver and Thirty-3 for superior displays of assaulting.
The *AUS* Engineer Proficiency Medal is hereby awarded to Chris for superior displays of engineer based combat.
The *AUS* Chief Commander's Medal is hereby awarded to Macgyver and Morden for their excellent skill.
Promotions
The rank of Lance Corporal is now adorned by Morden and Thor."
Lesser news
New patch, 1.31 of our great game is also out, make sure everyone has a copy, and there is a new and mandatory version of Teamspeak out. Even more exciting is the recent flux of custom-made maps for BF1942, and they all look decent enough, hopefully we can develop a map of our own for training, which also means a server... (hint hint someone!)
Tranfers/Departues...
Jarin and Micko210 have been kicked out because they have both disappeared from our radar.
Devoner and Anormaly have been tranferred from the Army to the Reserves.
