After nearly 3 years (05/04/02 - 17/01/05) DSL has hung up his boots. 2 1/2 years of that time was leading the Battlefield division, which in turn brought about the *AUS* Network.
Bloody hell it's been a hard slog at times. Many 'incidents' come to mind, but each time you've pulled the division through. None of it was easy, but I just hope you can sit back now and have a laugh at the good as well as the bad times. It was great seeing you at the LAN; thanks for your personal support at times I needed it; all the very best for the road ahead and I hope you continue to drop by regularly. Salute!

DSL's departure brought about the difficult decision of trying to find a person with the right kind of character and dedication needed to move into Battlefield 2. As of yesterday Fornax was chosen to take the reigns of the BF Division, so congratulations m8. I know you feel humbled in being offered the position, but you are not taking anything away from anyone - you've got to this point yourself. DSL and I both feel you have the attributes needed, spare time being right up there with having a firm plan for the divisions future. |
