*AUS* vs REV on Desert Sheild -- Posted by MrPlow on Wednesday, February 25 2004 |
After suffering a loss last time on this map to TEA, the DC team was hungrier than ever to reclaim the map as ours once again. DS Boot camp was in full effect the night before and it payed off tonight with a 513-0 win.
As Coalition out of the gates our guys were amped, with some eager DS greenhorns filling in for some of our vets, we made our unstoppable advance. REV armour and air force tested our attacks well but could not hold back the tide of infidels for very long. REV then had the hard task of trying to take back the stolen flag and although managed to grey it once or twice *AUS* held strong. REV's task became even harder after *AUS* continued the advance and took the third flag during these rounds
As opposition rounds 2 & 4 saw the REV team forced to try and attack an AUS a-rab squad that was dug in tighter and firmer than a nun's vertical smile. Defiantly the enemy Coalition armour, air & infantry made their advances towards Eastpoint and Westpoint. And although they came close several times, the *AUS* grasp was too tight and the flags never fell.
Bad luck REV, I'm sure we will see you guys again sometime in a rematch. Well done *AUS* including both the match squad who attended and also those that helped out with the practice the night before.
Final Scores: 104-0 AUS win as coalition 0-143 AUS win as opposition 132-0 AUS win as coalition 0-134 AUS win as opposition.

*AUS* vs TEA on Desert Shield -- Posted by MrPlow on Friday, February 20 2004 |
Desert Sheild is always going to give you plenty of bounce per ounce, with enough toys to keep the air & ground guys fully erect. Last night was definatley no exception, it was a solid game with neither AUS or TEA willing to hand any ground willingly.
First two rounds were a good old a-rab hoe-down by both teams who showed how well the powers of Allah can aid in your defense. Round 3 saw TEA start to nibble holes with them winning the round by 34 tickets leaving a round 4 that kicked off with the scores close at 120(AUS) vs 140(TEA). *AUS* valiantly tried to uproot the evil TEA kebab shop owners in round 4 but to no avail with TEA taking home 106 tickets. It was a great match, wd TEA bl AUS, we can't wait for the rematch sometime real soon.
Round Scores: 0-120 AUS 106-0 TEA 34-0 TEA 106-0 TEA
