It is a sad time in the BF division lately as we have thanked very much for their service and watched JBar and Lingus step down from officer roles in the clan to pursue RL activities and take it easy on the gaming side of their life. Their efforts and contribution to this clan has been massive and the clan is a little worse of for the loss of them from the management team. All the best guys, thanks heaps for your time at the top.

Mozz and Helo are taking up the seats that JBar and Lingus held for so long. So the officer group has a very different look from that even a month ago but we are confident we can continue pushing the clan forward.

In other news, the Heavy Weapons Team finished off its season 6 a few nights ago with a loss to the DNA clan on Daqing oilfields. We finished in 3rd spot on the ladder in what is possibly, but hopefully not, the last season of bf2 at this size. There is reason to believe that the community might vote to abandon the big format ladders in favor of 10v10 or maybe 12v12 or something. This will be a loss that will sadden *AUS* who have long be a vocal supporter of the large battlefield games "they way it Battlefield meant to be played".
Anyway in the down season we can only support our scrim partners with what is left of their finals campaign and worry about the season 7 issues when we get closer to that point.

The Gamepsace 10v10 and LiD 10v10 teams now begin to plan and negotiate their finals campaign while the SF 8v8 and 2142 8v8 teams fire up on their new seasons.

So despite some shakeups in the clan lineup we continue to keep going as busy as ever, lots of activity as always keeps us fighting under the *AUS* banner and that is all we can ask for I guess.

Still waiting patiently on word out of EA about the new game but it is clear that predictions of BF2's death since season 1 continue to be premature. It is still drawing a lot of new recruits and ladders and formats and games so we aren't really in any rush for BF3.
