Update time.
Sorry for the delay, it was lingus' fault. It has been a busy time since the last update and so im not going to get into all of it, key clan events are as follows:
Always trying to keep a group of 5 officers, Systemlord was recently promoted to take up the seat on the board long since left by Helo. System is taking up some (most\all) of the duties concerning the 16v16 team while I find a spot on the bench and take a break.
Our Special Forces team in the last news update was days away from the Grand final match of season 1. Unfortunately it did not go well for us, being soundly defeated by Team Exile5. We played quite aggressive, rolling for six and taking our chances which just didnt pay off, and so we ended our very successful season in a comfortable 2nd spot. The ladder has since locked for a break and is on the eve of re-opening with BloodRaven taking the reigns from systemlord to drive this team forward in season 2.
The HwT team has been kept on ice for the most part, during the busiest period in our clans history we decided we would idle the team as long as possible to avoid conflicts with other games like nGR and SF etc. This paid off, allowing us to get through this busy time without costing us any real ladder position. We have since put the team back into drive and are positioning ourselves now for the finals campaign of season 6, wish us luck.
nGR. We finished off the nGR comp with a loss to AFO in the Semi Finals on Dragon valley, a bad strat and an overworked team is what i put the loss down to, though there might have been other contributing factors, it was clear that certainly the management, and many key players in the team were just done and needing a break. So anyway it was a fun comp and we look forward to the next, taking away a few prizes in cash and drinks we are happy with our achievement.
GS has surged on, more and more new recruits into the team has kept the lineup strong each game and some good games to blood the new players. Fielding less and less players from other teams it wont be long now until the team, with the exception of the two guys running it (Steric and Aussie) can stand on its own with fresh *AUS* members eager to learn the ways of competitive clan level gaming.
2142 as always continues continuing on under the leadership of Mozz although now is relaxing a little during the off season between seasons. Votes are being talleid for the new and the guys are looking forward to seeing what happens next season.
LiD has been turned into more of a competitive team now that GS is taking the new recruits into battles, and so LiD is focusing for top ladder positions and fielding those of us that can hold a candle to our camo like players. Not far now, like the 16v16 team from the ladder lock and a fresh finals campaign - so wish us luck for that too. |
